These two brands have fully established themselves on Facebook hence getting so much influence through the likes and feedbacks they are getting. The two brands are well known for manufacturing cars. They normally post images as their cars and captions describing how good their products are to potential customers.
Frequency of Posts
For a brand to fully establish itself in the market, it is important for the brand to ensure that it posts to its customers and potential customers. This serves as a reminder to the customers of the existence of the brand. The frequency of posts for the two brands differ with Mercedes Benz taking dominion over Tesla. Mercedes Benz post after every few hours. In fact, Mercedes Benz ends up posting 3 to 6 posts per day. This is different from Tesla whose post frequency is really low. Both of them use the rule of 50/50 since they both concentrate in making the best design for the customer.
Most Successful Recent Posts

The success of a post is normally determined by the likes, shares and comments it has (De Vries&Leeflang, 2012). Furthermore, the time that the post was made is also a determining factor. A post that attracts the most likes, comments and shares in the shortest time is more successful and vice versa. The most recent successful post by Mercedes was posted on October 13, 2016 attracting a total of 23,000 likes, 179 comments and 628 shares. It is a post containing 7 images of Mercedes Benz CLS on a trip through Portugal. The rays of the sun gave the images n awesome look hence gaining so much success.

 For Tesla, the most recent successful post was posted on October 7, 2016 attracting 27,000 likes, 800 comments and 2,275 shares. It was an image of the electric-driven Tesla vehicle that had covered 3 billion miles of electric miles. The post was successful due to the incredible feature that would save 120 million gallons of gas.

The Mercedes Benz page has about 2,299,798 likes while the Tesla page has around 1,706,826 likes. This is clear indication of how successful Mercedes Benz is on Facebook.
